| The one day in my childhood I thought the best way to fend off the bullies was to become one. I walked up to a boy I didn't even know (because he was smaller than me) and punched him with no warning. To this day I feel badly about it.
If you could spend one day with anyone who had ever been born, who would you choose? |

| Fevre Dream~ by George R.R. Martin
It's a story of a vampire in 1700's era Mississipi river areas. He comissions construction of a fabulous steam river boat, and journeys up and down the river seeking other vampires. He hopes to have them join him in a plan to peacefully co-exist with the humans. It's really quite a wonderful book.
