| The day was going smoothly Everything some what fine Except when my beloved No toilet paper could find.
There they sat on the throne Panic in their eyes It was up to me to rescue I then did realize.
With a flash I took off To the grocery store I went Ran down the toilet paper aisle For which I was sent.
I dashed to the register But to a long line I did see Everyone turned their head Saw this woman in a hurry.
With panic on my face As if in a race With twelve rolls of toilet paper I did quickly pace.
I thanked each one As I got quickly through And after being rung up They applauded, “the best to you”.
Now I ran out of the store And to my car I raced out the parking lot The house not far.
I bounded through the door With twelve rolls in hand And gave to my beloved Who could not “stand”.
To this day When twelve rolls I do see It brings back a memory Filled with much glee.
Remember we are human Not at our best when “low” Nothing more appreciated When toilet paper you bestow.
So that ends my story Of the toilet paper caper Always be stocked up And never run out of paper! |

| goodness Cinda.. 12 ROLLS?? I do feel sorry for your neighbors.. last time I saw 12 rolls at once they were in a tree and you could hear a couple kids laughing their heads off (no, I wasn't one of them..)
enjoyed your tale.. I can imagine the urgency very easily as newspaper makes a lousy subsitute..
take care,
~ Daniel | |

Had We But Worlds Enough, And Time . . . | November 5th 2013, 11:57 am by Jamie | I never wanted to write this post. Life, however, brings to us changes of necessity, not changes we want.
Unfortunately, and as evidenced by the past few months' activities, I do not have the time to properly govern the use of this site anymore. While there are visitors every day, the posts by members are becoming fewer and farther between, and the staff participation is just as sparse.
