Many A Tune.

Although we’re old and wrinkled
When I look at you my love
I still see a nineteen year old
And I thank the stars above.

Despite the young’s assumptions
We make love every day
Romance has not diminished
As with your cellulite I play.

Sometimes the little general
Is slow to reach attention
But now I take a pill for that
I think that I should mention.

I did upset you yesterday
When I compared you to finest cheddar
But I meant you’re mature and tasty
Not smelly! Never ever.

And yes there are compensations
To making love when old
Our spare tyres mesh together
Combining fold with fold.

You young ones may be disgusted
But wait till you become mature
You’ll find it’s still a pleasure
Of that I’m very sure.

something inside me tells me this is you being sentimental.. but I could be wrong and this could just be about getting yourself out of the doghouse after something dumb you said..

enjoyed much my friend, glad to see you are comfortable with your writing pen again.
