The Trojan Falcon.

Arnie was a falcon
With cunning piercing eyes
He loved to eat plump pigeons
From small to super size.

He used such devious methods
Including lies and a disguise
To get a beloved pigeon lunch
Was Arnie's special prize.

Perched upon the baluster
Leading upwards to the loft
He covered himself in pigeon feathers
Both colourful and soft.

He inched his way without falter
Slowly upwards claw by claw
He made a little cooing noise
The Pigeons cooed some more.

I haven’t lost the touch he thought
As his true self he did reveal
Petrified Panicked pigeons pleaded
But he ate his favourite meal.

He flew off feeling bloated
Leaving carnage in the shack
Arnie took one look backwards
And muttered, "I’ll be back”.

There, and I thought you were going to reach for your twelve bore and fill his arse full of lead. Never mind next time mate.

Good one, Falcons in drag now there’s a thought.
