| Recyclemania
You know what? I am becoming a little jaded My enthusiasm for recycling has gradualy faded I am doing my best, Just likel the rest All my rubbish is sorted and graded.
I have boxes for paper, wrappers and mags But not yellow pages which must go in bags Plastic bottles, washed, cardboard boxes, squashed Textiles tied up labelled “Rags”.
Boxes for cans, boxes for plastic Boxes for knickers but remove the elastic Boxes for foil cleaned of all oil The whole thing is simply fantastic.
No paint, no solvents or batteries No dismembered bodies or products from catteries No aerosol cans or parts from old vans No medical specimens of anatomies.
Boxes for bottles without corks and content No grannies ashes however well meant No builder’s rubble or you’ll be in trouble In fact nothing to do with cement.
Special boxes for food waste composting Lined with Bio-degradable bags, whatever they’re costing You can buy compost back it comes in a sack To be honest it simply disgusting.
So one day when the bin man came round He told me a fact quite profound “When we take it from here, and I’m being sincere It ‘s all tipped in a hole in the ground”. Dr Fogg ©2012

| Man, your the best!! I once wrote a parody of the Queen song "Bicycle" called "Recycle Bins" and I touched briefly on these subjects but nothing like you have done! So... if you don't recycle them, just what do you do with the left over medical specimans of anatomies? and Granny's ashes.. well, I'm sure there is a poem in that concept just waiting to be written..
LOVED this my friend! | |

| Daniel, I have heard (but never tried) that cremation ashes make a very passable oxtail soup. | |

| No dismembered bodies or products from catteries ? I'm beginning to think that don't just write poetry in your pass time.... Absolutely adored this anyway, EXALT. Ami Ps. Funny signature - I like it. | |

Had We But Worlds Enough, And Time . . . | November 5th 2013, 11:57 am by Jamie | I never wanted to write this post. Life, however, brings to us changes of necessity, not changes we want.
Unfortunately, and as evidenced by the past few months' activities, I do not have the time to properly govern the use of this site anymore. While there are visitors every day, the posts by members are becoming fewer and farther between, and the staff participation is just as sparse.
