Guest

I stand, look in my dish
And what do I see?
Today whatever special is
Of the cheapest variety ~

Some rubbery, flavorless bland
Mess of puree I ever saw
Others soupy without form
Which sticketh to my paw ~

Keen sense of smell have I
No need to draw the flies
But some smell dead twice over
From the dish will I rise ~

Then every now and then
My Master is quite humane
For I have that savory pot –
I finally have them trained!!

Our little Jack Russel is the same, I often look at his meal with envy, "How come he has sirloin steak and i get spam" I ask my wife, "Oh he wont eat spam" She replies. Exalt

I don't have a cat, but my sister kept some while I was growing up. I see the truth value in this.

I never wanted to write this post. Life, however, brings to us changes of necessity, not changes we want.

Unfortunately, and as evidenced by the past few months' activities, I do not have the time to properly govern the use of this site anymore. While there are visitors every day, the posts by members are becoming fewer and farther between, and the staff participation is just as sparse.
