| The scene is Hyde Park Corner, Cyclops is addressing his followers.
Friends, my dear, dear friends I come before you today to demand that the persecution that we have suffered for centuries is ended. This is the age of political correctness but I ask you, does it extend to us?
No,No
Are we not gentle creatures who have suffered from a bad press since the beginning of time? And so it continues into the present day .Persecution, hostility and even assault. Why only yesterday Denis the Dragon was attacked in Oxford Street by a traffic warden armed with a fire extinguisher, denied even the right to breathe.
Shame, Shame
Even my faithful doggie Cerberus is not immune to outright prejudice and all because he has three heads. Down boy, down, boy down boy. He doesn’t ask for much just fourteen cans of Winalot a day and an arm or a leg on Sundays.
Hear Hear
And will Brenda the Banshee ever get on American Idol?,
NO Chance
Those wailing wannabes, I ask you, Brenda, and her backing group ‘The Harpies’ could wail them off the stage.
Tell it how it is brother
I too have suffered.
Oh No!!
Its true friends. My eye isn’t what it used to be but my request to Spec Savers for a one lens spectacle was greeted with derision.
Disgraceful
But I have a dream.
Lordy Lordy
That one day Frankie Stein will no longer be thought of as a bit AC DC When mermaids will enjoy a sex life. And Medusa will no longer have to wear a sack over her head. I have a dream.
Right on
So Brothers and Sisters. Onward now to Parliament to request, nay to demand our lawful rights That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not; For there is none of you so mean and base, That hath not noble lustre in your eyes. I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips, Straining upon the start. The game's afoot: Follow your spirit, and Cry Monsters of the World Unite | |

| This could almost be a televison script, a spoof on world leadership. Truly comical. Well done. Enjoyed! tc |

| ooh gosh, were I a Monster I would rally to a cry like this.. knock down the walls, use my claw-like fingers to open the gate and screech like Godzilla in aggreement to this cry for equality.. but as it is.. I'm not a monster so I just have to settle for giving you a clap on the back and smile.

Had We But Worlds Enough, And Time . . . | November 5th 2013, 11:57 am by Jamie | I never wanted to write this post. Life, however, brings to us changes of necessity, not changes we want.
Unfortunately, and as evidenced by the past few months' activities, I do not have the time to properly govern the use of this site anymore. While there are visitors every day, the posts by members are becoming fewer and farther between, and the staff participation is just as sparse.
