Happy New Year to all of you from the Poet Share staff.  We'll resume our Weekly Prompt this Wednesday, January 5th, but wanted to take this time to thank those of you that entered in our Bi-Annual Competition, and our Theme Month. We will be out with the Voting Polls soon, so please be sure to vote in as many polls as you can, even if you didn't enter a poem for them. Your input and participation are what helps keep Poet Share as fresh and relevant as it is, and we always need your suggestions for our Weekly Featured Poem, so keep the nominations coming in!! Just PM your nomination to one of the staff! We also have participation badges to hand out, with more contests to come. Stay tuned!!

Unfortunately, and as evidenced by the past few months' activities, I do not have the time to properly govern the use of this site anymore. While there are visitors every day, the posts by members are becoming fewer and farther between, and the staff participation is just as sparse.

It's been a busy summer for us here at Poet Share, as the sunshine has called us away more than usual. We've posted a new poetry prompt today for you summery, adventurous types.
