Eight Ways To Stupid


I'm amazed every day, on the highway
At some of the dumb moves I see
People putting on their light, to turn right
Then turning left in front of me..

Are they so hard pressed, to pass an IQ test
Is there any way else to group it?
Well, I couldn't resist, so I made a list
Of eight ways to stupid..

That ding-bat with the blinker, the over-thinker
That starts signaling over a mile away
I used to guess where he's turning, but quickly I'm learning
To wait till his brake lights come into play..

And there is the guy who took flight, to get to the red light
He passed me going a hundred and ten
As soon as the light turned green, he floored his machine
And at the next red light he will do it again..

Then there is the OTHER guy, who you can't ever get by
Because he is only driving five miles an hour
Either he has retired, or his car is miss-wired
Because neither of them seems to have any power..

And I don't understand, having a cell phone in one hand
Boy.. some folks really got the nerve
Driving while they text, already perplexed
Easy to see why they run off the curb..

And then there is the swerving car, that just left the bar
The driver just couldn't pass that last drink by
Up the hill he does climb, two lanes at the same time
He's on his way to his next D.U.I..

And I have to scoff, at the jerk who cut me off
He put his car in a place it shouldn't be
If I had not checked, we would have both wrecked
And why? so he could be in front of me??

So for these idiots and I to co-exist, I must add to my list
People who dress up like Santa Claus or Cupid
One such drivers sudden twitch, sent me into a ditch
And he became the eighth way to stupid..
