| To a Cockatoo or Two
Does a female cockatoo say any cock will do? does she cock a single leg or cock a leg or two? does a male cockatoo go cockadoodaloo? If i studied cockatoo could I speak it just like you? Dr Fogg C2011 | |

| Thank you silverhenge, I have had a few comments on this poem but had no obscenety in mind when i wrote it. I guess the wicked thoughts lie in the sewers of the minds that it affronts. You should see what a mess the TPS censor made of it. | |

| my bird, being an amazon, not a cockatoo, got really tongue-tied when I tried to teach it to him so we gave up and had ice-cream... he loves ice-cream..
I do know that censors can be annoying but the sad fact is there are people out there that would make Ozzy cover his ears.. and any good poet worth their pen can create a reaction by what they write without having to resort to such language.. so we need to keep these perverts restricted somehow and at the least, give them a rule to break so we can throw them off the site.
hopefully one day computer programs will be able to understand the words that are typed and decide for itself if it is something that is right for TOS rules, allowing words that are safe to be seen in their whole.

Had We But Worlds Enough, And Time . . . | November 5th 2013, 11:57 am by Jamie | I never wanted to write this post. Life, however, brings to us changes of necessity, not changes we want.
Unfortunately, and as evidenced by the past few months' activities, I do not have the time to properly govern the use of this site anymore. While there are visitors every day, the posts by members are becoming fewer and farther between, and the staff participation is just as sparse.
