| The sign over the door of a little shop in Soho, London reads, Sid’s Poets Workshop ‘Improve your images; get one here, very cheap. NO CREDIT
Good Morning Sir You’re pardon if I talk in rhyme You see I do it all the time Now image lines we have galore Over fifty, maybe even more
Ah I see you’re a modernist Of course I should have guessed Bangle earrings, velvet pants I’m really most impressed
Hopefully we’ll find some for you Oh dear I fear there are but few You see our Mod composer Willie the Greek Is resting in the Funny Farm this week
Ah, now this is awesome you will agree Buy it now and get one free
My pencil fingers clutch and tear Secreted in your underwear
And the freebee
Scarlet palsy, bones and knuckle I cannot resist the urge to chuckle
This is awesome and quite illegible Perfectly penned and quite unintelligible
Nose down in the cleavage of my mind No peace, no hope, oh how unkiind
Lastly Willie’s pièce de résistance You have no idea how long this took It’s almost from the pen of Rupert Brook
The kidney pendulum swings for free I hope there’s honey still for tea
Well I am really gutted, it is a surprise We could not help you, we could not oblige And now you must be on your way Good morning sir. Have a nice day.

| Great poem Cari, I have a message for Sid..............
Oh Sid write me a poem please with rhyme and perfect meter I know you'll do it with consumate ease So pen me a world beater.
I'll tell what would be really nice Some verse describing me as a stud That within an hour I can do it twice Due to my Italian blood.
And dont forget I have an 8 pack Though two of them are blubber Abs and pecks I do not lack I am the greatest lover.
Also mention my famous generosity (Please find enclosed, a quid) Tell 'em I can touch my toes "Hypermobility" But I'll keave it up to you dear Sid.
Foggy.

| I was almost in tears laughing at this Cari, simply because some of those lines could've come from some "poets" I've read elsewhere. Absolutely loved it! *exalt* | |

Had We But Worlds Enough, And Time . . . | November 5th 2013, 11:57 am by Jamie | I never wanted to write this post. Life, however, brings to us changes of necessity, not changes we want.
Unfortunately, and as evidenced by the past few months' activities, I do not have the time to properly govern the use of this site anymore. While there are visitors every day, the posts by members are becoming fewer and farther between, and the staff participation is just as sparse.
