SEAGULLS

Guest

There doth stand
A handsome man
On the shore of the sea
Over me flieth a seagull
And what doth it do?
It bombs me head
With a ton of crap!

I run away
Yet it follows
Me sore afraid
The gull has set out
To target me once more
With a full spray.
If I had me a gun
I'd shoot the damn thing
Why, I would blow it away!

You think the beach is so nice -
Well you're sure to find out
With the nasty gulls
Come pecking at you,
Then you will hate
And want to shoot
The seagulls too!

Ha ha I live by the sea and beleive me those gulls are a menace! They think nothing of swooping down to steal an ice cream cone right out of your hand! The crazy thing is they are protectef by law!so our only available weapon seems to be to reason with them and as I dont speak gullish too well that just doesnt work.

I've had the reverse happen to me, I love all birds and seagulls I find funny to watch. They remind me of a bunch of kids playing "Simon Says" only it's hard to tell who is Simon.. There used to be a resturant I enjoyed eating at that had big windows that looked right into the river and seagulls would sit on the outside of the windows and watch us eat.. it was so cool... yes, they do leave messes once in a while, but who doesn't? enjoyed this much. take care,

I enjoyed this one. I have to admit, when I see seagulls harassing other people, I can see the funny side, but when they are targetting me - not so hilarious! I do find them quite beautiful to observe from a distance, but they're not so lovely when they're up close and after your chips!

Daniel you said "Ive had the reverse happen to me" does that mean you have actualy crapped on a sea gull? you want to be careful mate those little sods have razor sharp teeth, they could well pecker your pecker.

Seagulls, like most animals, come to look forward to handouts. It's a chance for us to interact with animals and very funny ... to a point. Once they become a nuisance the funny stops pretty quickly. Great write, might suggest a hat ... or helmet! Mad
