You may have noticed that the Brain Box is no longer in a separate board. We've incorporated our Brain Box Prompt into the Weekly Prompt rotation and combined both boards into one. We hope you find this change to be for the better. Smile

Unlike the normal Weekly Prompts, where the admin pick the winner, this week's Weekly Prompt is a Brain Box prompt, where the members vote for the winner! Try to write a poem that incorporates at least 5 of the words in the Brain Box, and your poem is entered into a member poll, with the winner getting the Brain Box badge for their profile!

We'll have a different prompt for you next week as always. If you have a suggestion for a prompt or anything else about the forums, please PM it to an Admin. And as always, enjoy your time at Poet Share.

I never wanted to write this post. Life, however, brings to us changes of necessity, not changes we want.

Unfortunately, and as evidenced by the past few months' activities, I do not have the time to properly govern the use of this site anymore. While there are visitors every day, the posts by members are becoming fewer and farther between, and the staff participation is just as sparse.

It's been a busy summer for us here at Poet Share, as the sunshine has called us away more than usual. We've posted a new poetry prompt today for you summery, adventurous types.
