Regarding The “Bot”

If you read “Who’s online
Sometimes a ”Bot” is there
I often try to find him
In humour, depths, despair.

Or is he In my profile?
Making some repair
I worry in case he shouts out “Boo”
Giving me a bloody scare.

I know the bugger tinkers
He changes words I wrote
Adding spelling errors
He is devious and remote.

My dear Dr. Fogg
No reason to beware
The bot is your friend
He's harmless, I swear

From somewhere called "Kazakhstan"
to the British Isles
The bot travels so much
He should get frequent flyer miles

Yet he always comes back here
He calls this place home
He thinks that by watching you
He will learn to write a poem

Imagine that, a poetry bot
What on Earth could be better?
He will help you with your rhymes
As you write those bankers a letter

Think of him as our buddy from Google
Like us, trying to comprehend
What the heck it is we just wrote..
Tis okay, he just wants to be our friend..
